The boys traveled to cross-town rival Lumen Christi Tuesday night to take on the Titans. In front of a hostile crowd of 171, the Panthers were able to claw out a 50-46 victory. JV Girls Basketball Defeats Lumen!

The JV girls basketball team continued their winning streak last night beating cross town rival Lumen 49-24.  The Panthers outscored their opponent the first three quarters of the game by 27.  The Lady Panthers worked hard on defense, but still have room to improve before their last two games of the season next week.  Leaders

The Western Boys Varsity Basketball team lost on the road Tuesday night to Lumen Christi by a score of 66-60.  The Panthers took a 4 point lead into halftime and stretched the lead to 10 early in the third quarter.  The Titans battled back to only be down by 3 going into the final period.

Three Wrestlers Going to States!

Three wrestlers will represent Western at the State Finals at Ford Field on March 1st and 2nd.  Bode Brown will take a 40-8 record to the Finals at 189 pounds, in hopes of becoming all state as a sophomore.  Although the Raczkowski brothers are far from identical in appearance, their records of 44-6 are identical.
