The Wrestler’s improved to 4-0 in the conference and 15-1 overall with wins against Marshall, 49-27 and Coldwater 37-24, Wednesday night. The wins put the panthers in the drivers seat in the conference with three duals and the conference tournament remaining. Coldwater has won the last two conference championships and both teams were unbeaten in conference matches going into the dual. Wrestling started at 125 pounds with Hunter Gier getting Western off to a good start with a fall in the 3rd period. The teams each won four matches in the first eight weight classes, but because Western was able to get bonus points they lead 21-15. Bode Brown and Landon Raczkowski put Western up 33- 15 with four weight class remaining and Lincoln Raczkowski clinched the victory with a win at 103 pounds. Other winners in the Dual were Nick Ferris, Jacob Tidwell, and Seth Phebus.
