Freshman Boys Basketball · Freshman Boys Basketball Battled a Solid Marshall

The boys Freshmen team hosted the Marshall Redhawks last night and fell 57-31 to a tough team. The Panthers started slow, but fought their way back into the game, as close as 2 points near halftime. The Redhawks went on a 10 point run and steadily pulled away the rest of the game. The young Panthers played with heart and toughness all night, making their old coach proud.

Leading the way for the Panthers was Jack Herrington with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Dylan Hackworth and Brody Giroux each chipped in with 5 points.
The Panthers next play on Thursday January 17th when they travel to Battle Creek to take on the Harper Creek Beavers. Tip off is set for 5:30pm.
On Saturday January 19th the freshman Panthers travel to Marshall and challenge the Coldwater Cardinals in a unique conference triple header of games.
