JV Boys Basketball · JV Boys Basketball Defeats Undfeated Marshall!

Thursday night the Panthers took on rival Marshall in a clash between two heavyweights. The Red Hawks came to Parma with an 8-0 record and the 304 fans in attendance saw them leave with their first loss of the season. For the Panthers, Coach Kim devised a perfect game plan and his players executed it to perfection. Some aggressive defense along with some hot outside shooting propelled the Panthers to a 34 to 15 halftime lead. The two teams played it about even in the second half allowing the Panthers to hold on and win by a final score of 58 to 39. Aidan Robinson drained 6 threes and finished with 22 points.  Logan Baum added 7 and Cole Wilcox chipped in 6 points off the bench. The Twin Towers (Price and Herrington) added 6 each but controlled the boards for most of the game. Brandon Bowers and the Sharp boys brought energy and enthusiasm to the defensive end of the floor holding a high powered Marshall team to only 39 points. Next up a Tuesday tilt vs. Lumen Christi
