The Freshman Boys team hosted a non-league game with Haslett on Tuesday night. Playing in front of a near capacity crowd in The Den the young Panthers fell to the Vikings 52-39. Many fans walked away proud of the effort from the scrappy Panthers despite the loss. After falling behind 15-3 at the end of the first quarter, the young Panthers came back and had the deficit at only seven points in the late 4th quarter. The Haslett coach expressed his admiration to Coach Pombier of how hard and tenacious the Panthers played.

The Panthers were led in scoring by the hot shooting of Josh Curl, who finished with nine points. He was supported by Trenton Schnebelt who had eight and Brody Giroux who finished with six.
The Panthers next game is at home vs. Coldwater in a league game on Thursday February 7th at 5:30pm.
