Varsity Softball Sweeps Lumen! Nichols Earns 1000th Strike Out!

The varsity softball team sweeps Lumen to continue on 13 game win streak! Tonight senior Taylor Nichols earned her 1000th career strike out! Taylor’s hard work has defiantly paid off in her four years at Western. She has broken the school record with more games to pitch. Game one the Panthers defeated Lumen 14-3! Nichols

JV Baseball Sweeps Lumen!

The JV baseball team swept Lumen Christi Tuesday, winning game one 6-4 and game two 1-0. Both games were hard fought by both teams and the Panthers grit came out on top. Russ Logsdon had 2 hits and Cole Sharp had 2 RBI’s. Joey Ellis got the win from the mound throwing all 5 innings. In

Boys Track Defeats Northwest!

Western defeats Northwest   Despite going home with wet feet thanks to the buckets of water that fell in the morning’s rainstorm, it was a beautiful day for our final home meet of the year. Girls Tennis Defeats Adrian and Northwest

n Monday, the girl’s tennis team captured 2 wins without dropping a match versus Adrian (A) and Northwest (N) to improve to 12-2-1 on the year.  The team played great in both matches winning both 8-0 and now they are getting ready for Tuesday’s match at home versus Jackson at 4:30 pm. Girls Track Defeats Northwest

The Western women’s track team finished their dual meet season on Monday..They pounded Northwest 121-42 and finished with their finest dual meet record in many years..6-1.  The next meet is at Jackson high Wednesday for a jv invite..This coming Friday is the regional meet at Mason Individual results of the Northwest meet.. Varsity Girls Soccer Update

On Wednesday, May 9th, the Western girl’s soccer team hosted Battle Creek Harper Creek. Kristy Bowden scored 2 goals and Quinn Natschke assisted on both goals. The Boys Golf Team Won the Hillsdale Invite on Friday!

The Boys Golf Team won the Hillsdale Invitational on Friday with a team total 344 under cold and rainy conditions.  Cainen DeNoon led the Panthers with an 83 which was good enough for overall Medalist Honors.  Jadon Engle and Jon Shaw’s 86s tied for 5th and Logan Deveroux’s 89 placed 9th.  Congratulations.
