JV Tennis vs. Northwest

Last night the JV Girls’ Tennis team was to play Northwest but they had a very limited number of players allowing only a few of the Western girls to play.  I do not have a team score. 1st doubles-  Cierra Churchwell and Tori Vainner won 8-1 2nd doubles-  Morgan Bartell and Rose Gilbert won 8-1

Varsity Girls Soccer

Over the weekend the girls varsity soccer team traveled to Lansing to participate in the SMAA conference tournament. In the first game the Panthers defeated Columbia Central 2-0. Libby Ellis & Sydney Nagy scored one goal each with an assist coming from Alyssa Joseph to advance the team to the championship game vs Lansing Christian.

Girls and Boys Highlights The Ron Ralya Invite is a co-ed combined team event.  The panthers took home 1st place easily by outscoring 2nd place Parkside by 37 points. JV Softball vs. Leslie

Girls Tennis WINS the SMAA Conference!!!

SMAA league tournament @ Hillsdale Hillsdale hosted the SMAA tournament on Thursday. Parma Western defended their league championship with a victory. Varsity Soccer vs. Hillsdale

Announcement for Friday 5/12/12 On Wednesday the girl’s varsity soccer team defeated Hillsdale 4-0. Girls Middle School Track

The girls teams won 6 of the 12 relay events last night to out score rival Columbia Central.  The girls pole vault team of Megan Carroll and Alisha McCormick led off the meet with a first place finish. Runners on winning relay teams were Emily Chalfant, Tashie Gordon, Laura Holton, Milena Koprivica, Marissa Farthing, Megan
