Varsity Baseball vs. Stockbridge

The Western Varsity baseball team swept Stockbridge last night in a conference double header.  Picking up the pitching victories were senior, Wyatt Parker and senior Jacob Cross.  Leading the offensive attack for Western were senior, Caleb Gulledge with 4 hits and senior Chad Rokita with 3 hits.  The victories put the Panthers at 4-0 in

Boys Golf

The Boys Golf Team managed to hang on in windy conditions at Stockbridge’s Home Course for our 2nd Jamboree win.  Kyle Kirchmeier tied for medalist honors with his best round of 42, followed closely by Josh Dirlam’s 43.  Jakob Nowicki and Jared Lamberson added 47’s for a team total of 179.

Varsity Softball vs. Stockbridge

The varsity softball team opened conference play at home against Stockbridge last night. In game one, Western’s bats were silent. They only managed 8 hits scoring just 5 runs. Defensively, the team struggled to make solid plays. Seven errors, allowed Stockbridge to score 12 runs.  Western could only score two in the 7th inning. Allyson

Western JV Baseball Sweep Jonesville on Saturday April 21st

The girls competed in a very good tournament at home today.  The girls played some good talent from All of the schools.  The schools were Coldwater, Dearborn Devine Child, Lumen Christi and Parma Western.   The team scores were as follows:   Tied for 1st place        Coldwater               23 points                                   Lumen Christi          23 points 3rd place                    Parma Western        20 points

JV Softball Splits on Saturday vs. Jonesville

The JV Softball team split with Jonesville on Saturday, 13-9 and 11-16. Mikayla Cary took the win in game one with 9 strikeouts and 3 walks. Mikayla Cary and Alexis Schneider split time on the mound, with the loss going to Cary. Carlie Morrow went 3-5 on the day. Record: 5-8

Girls JV Tennis Defeats Onsted 6-2

The JV girls’ tennis team was victorious over Onsted last night. The lady Panthers won 6-2.
