Boys Tennis; I8 Conference Champs! Regional Champs!!

Boys Varsity Tennis Concludes Regular Season

The Western boy’s tennis team concluded their regular season schedule with a bang by capturing the Woodhaven Warrior Classic Tournament and defeated conference rivals Lumen Christi 5-3 and Hastings 8-0. The Western Boy’s Tennis team had a busy but extremely productive week on the courts that ended Saturday with wins over Division 3 Petoskey and Haslett. Varsity Boys Tennis Wins the Regional Title – 5 Years in a Row!

On Thursday the boy’s tennis team traveled to Haslett High School to compete in their regional tennis tournament.  Teams present were Western(#5), Haslett(#10), Williamston(#8), Fowlerville, Charlotte, Mason, DeWitt, Eaton Rapids, Ionia, and Northwest all hoping for a berth to the State tennis tournament in Holland next Friday. Boys Tennis I8 Conference Champs!!

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Tennis Team!! On Monday, Western hosted the I8 Conference Championship and came away with their first conference championship since 2011.  The Panthers again swept the doubles flights and took #1, #2, and #4 doubles flights as well.
