Wrestling Defeats Northwest!

Congratulations to Seth Phebus for placing second in the individual districts and advancing to the regionals.  Seth easily advanced to the finals with a pin in his semi-final match.  He will be taking a 33-3 record into the regional tournament on Saturday.

Varsity Wrestling Team Districts

The wrestlers avenged a loss to cross town rival, Northwest, in the district semifinal on Wednesday night.  Many guys left it on the mat for the panthers to win.  Spencer Skittenhelm gave Western an early 3-0 lead, with a decision at 103 pounds.  Logan Perez had a key pin at 112 pounds and avenged an earlier loss.  Perez lost
