Varsity Tennis Wins I8 Conference!

On Friday, the boy’s competed in the I-8 Conference Tournament. Western won 7 of the 8 flights! The guys have been playing some excellent tennis lately and proved it with a dominant performance on Friday. Varsity Boys Tennis Trump the Bulldogs!

Western hosted the Chelsea Bulldogs on Thursday evening. The panthers came out victorious beating the 7th (in D3) rated Chelsea team. Varsity Tennis Defeats Marshall!

Parma hosted Marshall high school on Monday. The Panthers performed extremely well beating the Redhawks 7-1. Parma Western Boy’s Varsity Tennis competed in another 8-team invite on Friday, 8/21. As a team, they finished in 3rd place behind Portage Northern & Grand Rapids Christian. Boys Varsity Tennis Concludes Regular Season

The Western boy’s tennis team concluded their regular season schedule with a bang by capturing the Woodhaven Warrior Classic Tournament and defeated conference rivals Lumen Christi 5-3 and Hastings 8-0. The team traveled to Woodhaven to battle Chelsea, Woodhaven, Salem, Trenton, Cousino,  Airport, and Roosevelt and came way tournament champions.  With injuries to #2 singles

The Western Boy’s Tennis team had a busy but extremely productive week on the courts that ended Saturday with wins over Division 3 Petoskey and Haslett.
