Varsity Girls Tennis Fairs Well in 4 Matches!

Over the last few days the tennis team has played 4 matches and finished with wins versus Pennfield (7-1) and Harper Creek (8-0) along with a tie versus #10 in the state St. Clair (4-4) and a loss against #8 in the state Chelsea (1-7).  That puts the Panthers record at 9-2-2 for the season. 

Girls Tennis – Going to the State Tournament!!

At the beginning of the season the Panther Girls Tennis Team made a list of goals for the season but one goal was at the top – Go To States – and on Thursday they did just that!  4 of the 8 flights made it to the finals with 2 crowned Regional Champions – Ryleigh Cottingham

Varsity Girls Tennis Defeats Pennfield

On Wednesday, the Girls Tennis Team defeated Pennfield (P) 7-0.  The win moves their record to 10-2-1.  All girls played strong matches until the rain came and 4 doubles had to stop their match due to rain.  The team plays a tri match versus Davison and Swartz Creek beginning at 9 am Saturday in Davison. Girls Varsity Tennis Downed by Lumen

On Tuesday, the girls tennis team lost its first conference match of the season to Lumen Christi (L), 8-0, to move their record to 9-2-1.  The girls fought hard against a very deep and veteran Titan team.  On Wednesday, the team faces off against Pennfield at home at 4:30 pm. Varsity Girls Tennis Defeats Northwest!

With a convincing win over Northwest (NW) on Monday, the WHS Girls Tennis Team improved to 9-1-1 and continues to be undefeated in the I-8 Conference.  The team played great up and down the line.  Tomorrow the team takes on cross-town rivals Lumen Christi at home at 4:30 pm to determine the regular season I-8 champion.  Come out and cheer

Varsity Tennis Defeats Harper Creek!

WHS Girls Tennis is still undefeated at 7-0-1 and it was all because of a lot of hard work by the team.  They defeated Harper Creek (H) 5-3, a conference and regional rival.  #3 singles Rachel Polich pulled out a 3 hour match win over a tough opponent to secure the team win.  The Panthers

Girls Tennis Defeats Hastings!

On Thursday, the Girls Tennis Team defeated Hastings (H) 7-1 to remain undefeated for the season at 6-0-1.  The match was close throughout but dominating play from captains Ryleigh Cottingham and Corrinne Doll helped get the wins started.  The girls play on Monday at home versus Harper Creek at 4:30 pm. Singles             

Girls Tennis Still Undefeated!

On Wednesday, the Panther girls tennis team defeated Vicksburg (V) 7-1 to remain undefeated with a record of 5-0-1.  On many courts our ladies dominated the match with superior play.  One highlight from the match is that both #3 singles Rachel Polich and #4 singles Caroline Davenport secured wins to remain undefeated for the season.  Thursday at 4:30

Varsity Girls Tennis Defeats Coldwater!

On Monday the girls tennis team beat Coldwater (C) 5-3 to remain undefeated at 4-0-1.  After a 2 1/2 hour match, #2 doubles of Morgan Wilcox and Raegan Baker clinched the team victory with a 3rd set win.  Other wins came from Ryleigh Cottingham, Corrine Doll, Rachel Polich and Caroline Davenport all playing singles.  The
